In view of the global challenges, there is a need for capable, creative and courageous changemakers in all countries, institutions, disciplines and age groups. The core of Kerstins work is the innovation of education systems which enable students to become responsible creators of their lives, immediate surroundings and society. She is founder and executive director of Global Goals Curriculum E.V. which is based in Berlin at ESBZ - one of Europes most innovative schools. As visiting researcher at the European Center For Sustainability Research (Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen) she focuses on a holistic, multidisciplinary approach towards education and collaboration for sustainability. Together with many co-developers, representatives of all relevant stakeholder groups and wide student participation the mission is to re-imagine education fundamentally - in theory and practice. Kerstin is co-creator and enabler of an environment in which students develop the knowledge, skills, self efficacy and character to become proactive and responsible changemakers. For a democratic and peaceful, a tolerant and inclusive, a just and sustainable society. Global Goals Curriculum is developing a blueprint program for a dynamic, participatory and hands-on school transformation approach - in cooperation with school networks such as UNESCO aspnet, Ashoka Changemaker Schools, Schulen im Aufbruch. This work has been rewarded in November 2017 as "Excellent Network for Education for Sustainability" by the German Federal Ministry For Education And Research and the German UNESCO Commission.
