Kasper Jordaens is a civil engineer architect and self-formed geek. Often doing projects where interaction with music and live aspects are core to the idea. As a live coding artist or VJ, he learned applying this also in the more professional context of imec, combining technology by means of creativity is his daytime-job as a solution designer.

Driven by love of music and art, Wouter Devriese combines creativity with his background as an industrial electronics engineer. For imec, while balancing between soft- and hardware, he creates prototypes for the next-gen technology, using curiosity and a social life as a trigger for his job and projects.

Both colleagues are often intrigued by the technology developed at imec. While working at the immersive lab (phosphotron, de Krook Ghent) they came up with the idea for an experience making use of next-gen imec technology, out of its engineering lab context. Sourcing from the artistic and professional network, a dream team was assembled and they set out on the journey of creating the STUFF. experience.

Lessons learned about this multidisciplinary process are diverse. Put lab-grade technology on high-energy band members: What could possibly go wrong? What happens if you crossbreed engineers and musicians? While not aiming for the common denominator in the project results, vegan food was our best option during collaborative moments.
