Ann Caluwaerts is Chief Corporate Affairs at Telenet & brings to the table over 25 years of experience in the global telecom as well as local media industry. Before she began working at Telenet, Ann gained experience at BT & Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products. She has extensive experience in strategic communications, regulatory affairs, strategy development, change management, stakeholder management as well as managing P&L’s. She graduated as civil engineer electronics (KU Leuven) & followed different courses at Insead, London Business School.
If we want to strive even more towards a working culture wherein men and women are regarded equally, we have to start at the top of the enterprise.
Ann is characterized by her strong leadership, combining strategy & execution, working with passion, integrity & impressive communication skills. As she has extensive experience in telecommunications & in the content/media sector, she is a regular & inspirational speaker at conferences & academic organizations.
Diversiteit in directiekamer belangrijker dan in bestuurskamer
Nog altijd zijn er te weinig leidinggevende vrouwen in bedrijven. Op deze 46ste nationale Vrouwendag roep ik op tot meer diversiteit in de directiekamer, in plaats van ons blind te staren op het behalen van quota in de raad van bestuur.
